Fall craft, weekend, and more!

Friday was quite the busy day for us. Nathan had school all day, so after I got him on the bus, I had about 5 friends come over with their kids to have a craft playdate. The kids made the cutest Fall trees and we all had so much fun.
That night, I had 10 moms over for a pj Twilight party. It started around 7 and didnt end until a little after midnight. We had yummy food, girl talk, drinks, and of course, Edward and Jacob. It was so much fun!!!
Saturday, we hung around and relaxed. Nathan went to a sleep over at Grammy and Pop Pops house and we ran some errands.
Sunday, after church, we went up to Grammy and Pop Pops house and had a yummy taco lunch. Once the kids woke up from naps, we headed on home and watched some football and played with some toys, etc.
Overall, it was a fun weekend and I woke up this morning feeling exhausted. I assume that is from the time change and everything though since kids dont understand sleeping an extra hour hehe!!!

Halloween

What a fun Halloween we all had!! Nathan had a "harvest party" at school yesterday and came home with some fun little toys (skeleton, decorated foam pumpkin, vampire teeth). Lindsey has her Harvest party today at school since they have school on Tuesday/Thursdays.

Last night, Grammy and Pop Pop came over and brought over Papa Murphys pumpkin pizzas for dinner. They were so cute and very tasty! It was the perfect dinner to energize us to go get some candy....I mean, take the kids around to get candy ; )

We put their costumes on after we ate and Caleb decided that he was terrified of the dinosaur costume and monkey costume we had for him. We got a few pics before he refused to smile and started screaming and wanting the costume off. Needless to say, he did not get into the Halloween spirit.

Lindsey and Nathan were of course pros at it and ran from door to door collecting candy. Nathan even threw in a few "Happy Halloweens" to each person that answered the door, hehe!! Lindsey was funny because she would thank the person for the candy and then ask for another piece "for Caleb". Quite embarrassing as Caleb was next to us, so the neighbors were all confused on who she was talking about, etc.

They gathered tons of candy and by the end of the night, we were all tired and ready for bed. Luckily, they arent to the age where they want to eat all the candy, so they were happy with one piece before bed.

All in all, it was a wonderful Halloween and fun evening!!

This is before he threw a fit and wanted out of the costume

Josh ate some candy a little early, hence the "full" mouth haha

Monday already?

Wow, talk about a fast weekend! Feels like it should be a Saturday this morning.

On Friday, Josh was able to get off at lunchtime due to having to work over the weekend for their inventory. He came home in time to watch the kids while Nathan and I went to the dentist. If you know Nathan, you know he LOVES the dentist. He was talking about it all day and was so excited. I think its because they give him a toy airplane every time he goes, but nevertheless, he loves it. That morning, I took all the kids to the dr. Nathan and Lindsey needed their well checks, and Caleb was just our tagalong haha! The kids are growing like weeds and doing great!!

Saturday, Josh was gone until about 1 or 2. The morning was pretty relaxing, just playing with some toys and coloring. In the afternoon, when Josh came home, we headed out to run some errands and Grammy/Pop Pop came over to pick Nathan up for a sleep over. It was a pretty low key day!

Sunday, Grammy and Pop Pop came over. We didnt do too much again since we had run majority of our errands on Saturday. We walked through some stores, played, etc.

It was a very low key weekend but seemed to fly by. Maybe that was because Josh had to work a little bit and wasnt home, or just because we didnt have too many plans.

Im sure I will have plenty more fun stories to blog as the week starts, : )

Week fly by

Wow, I was quickly glancing at this blog this morning and realized I hadn't posted since Monday, oops! What can I say, three kids, school, a dog, play-dates and more....all keep me busy these days!!

We have had a fairly low key week. Wednesday we went to my friends house and we all made caramel apples. It was so much fun, and SO yummy!!! The kids enjoyed yummy cookies, while the moms made gourmet apples. Nothing says Fall like a good caramel apple right??

The kids have been busy at school and the first round of parent teacher conferences are coming up. One for Lindsey and one for Nathan. I am looking forward to them since I get to see all the fun art work that they are doing, and the kids are still young enough to where I don't need to dread a bad report yet hahahaha!!!

We are all off to the dr here in a while for well checks, three kids at the doctor by myself early in the morning, all I can say is at least I had my morning coffee hahaha!!!

Caleb moved to a big boy bed last night since we were ready to get rid of the toddler bed. It was a fairly easy transition since he had been out of the crib for months already. No more baby beds in our house...kind of sad but Ill post more on that one later.

Anyhow, happy Friday!!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Poor kid, with me being so busy lately, these are how his naps go

I thought this was funny, me smiling, him sleeping haha

Lazy day, Family pics, and more

On Friday, we had a lazy day. Lindsey slept in super late (9am), Nathan had school all day, and Caleb was my little helper. We got lots of chores and errands accomplished and overall, it was relaxing!
Saturday morning, we had family pictures. Hopefully they will turn out well. The weather was good, but it was so cold that the kids were crying majority of the time, leaving few opportunity for smiles haha.
Saturday evening we had to serve in the nursery at church. We were put into Calebs room and we had a blast. He was being such a goof, so of course, I had my phone out taking pictures of him haha. Yes, I was watching the other kids as well, in fact, I had a screaming baby attached to my hip the whole time....I think I suffered hearing loss from him, hehe! Lindsey was at a sleepover with Grammy and Pop Pop that evening!
Sunday, we got our pumpkins and we also bought a ton of apples and started making apple butter. It is still cooking in my slow cooker (both of them) and my house smells amazing!! Tonight we will can them! I am thinking we will end up with about 15-20 jars, at least haha!!!

Happy Monday!!!

My sleeping beauty at 8:45am haha

I heard Lindsey crying, came into the room to find this

Ghost playdate

Yesterday, the kids and I went to a ghost craft play date  The kids painted milk jugs white or orange (depending on if they wanted a ghost or pumpkin) and then glued a face on. It was a really fun morning and I loved the mom social time. I sure love all my mommy friends, : )
In the afternoon, Nathan headed off to school and the other two kids and I made a yummy Trick or Treat pizza.
Once Nathan got home from school, we were able to play outside and enjoy the decent weather, it actually was bumping 70 outside!!
The rain came back this morning, so we are sticking to indoor activities today. Hopefully this weekend dries up, but so far, its not looking like it. Luckily, our umbrella skills are great and we can have just as much fun in the rain!!

Caleb mastered the trampoline

Scary ghost project : )

M, T, W wrap up

This week/month/year has been flying by. I cant believe its already Wednesday, its already mid October, Halloween is coming up, and last but not least, I saw snow in the forecast (it quickly changed to rain, but it was crazy seeing it forecasted). All that being said, this year is flying by!!!
The kids and I are staying super busy with school, play dates, errands, and my womens chat n craft group each week. Its fun to finally be in a place where all 3 kids are easy to load up and go as we please, phew!!

Here are some cute shots from this week so far. We are off to my womens chat group in a few minutes and then have a few playdates scheduled for the rest of the week, so I will have some cute pics coming soon as well!!

This is how his Monday started....fell asleep as I was cleaning
