Motherly Instinct
Over this past weekend, I found Lindsey being very "motherly" towards Caleb. She definitely loves her new little brother, but she hasnt seemed super interested in him, until recently. I found her reading Caleb a book and even pointing out all the pictures. If he is fussy, she will help him bounce in his jumperoo, so gives him her baby dolls if she feels he needs them, etc. She has even begun following me around the house with her babies, burping them, tucking them in, giving them a bottle, etc. Its quite cute to see the girly, motherly instinct start in her.......only about 35 more years until she is allowed to have kids.....hehe!!!

Looking in the Clouds
Yesterday afternoon, the sun came out in full force, so what do us Seattle peeps do?? RUN outside and soak it up while you can!!!!
I took the kids on a walk to look for bugs and we found a rolly polly, that was a huge hit....Nathan refused to hold it......I know I know, weird right?? Arent boys supposed to LOVE all that stuff?? Nope, not my OCD boy. He loves the bugs from a distance, not up close. I played with it enough to get him comfortable enough to allow it within a foot a him, LOL!!! As I was placing the rolly polly in the bug catcher....I look over and see both Nathan and Lindsey, laying next to each other in the grass, pointing into the sky telling each other what they see in the clouds. It was priceless. They saw monsters, dinosaurs, princesses, etc. Its a great mommy moment to see my two kids playing, laughing, learning, and growing into great friends together! I constantly catch them hugging, holding hands, sneaking into a playroom to play with a toy together, etc. Definitely a huge Blessing!!
Meanwhile, Caleb was having a great time sitting in the grass, I was holding him up, but he was getting tickled by the grass and thought it was hilarious!
Overall, although we didnt go all over town, have huge adventures, or have much excitement, it was a wonderful day outside, exploring the many wonders around us!!!

Sesame Street in Concert!
Last night we took the kids to go see Sesame Street and it was a BLAST! Nathan was so excited to see Cookie Monster and kept faking eating cookies haha!! Lindsey was super excited to see Elmo, and screamed (a high pitch squeal) everytime he came on stage!! There was tons of dancing, singing, laughing, etc. Nathan kept calling the spotlight a "flashlight" and saying that he needed one!!
All in all, it was an awesome kid friendly night!!! I love my kiddos!!!

Happy, smiley, talker boy!
Caleb has been quite the entertainer this week, first he wouldn't stop laughing and I caught it all on camera, then he was all smiley and posed perfectly for my pictures, and then he decided he wanted to talk to the camera as I was recording him, yet again. All in all, this has definitely been a "Caleb spotlight" kind of week since every time I try to take pictures of Nathan and Lindsey, they have a new game of "hide from the camera"!
Hopefully next blog I will be able to post some pics of the Nathan and Lindsey, otherwise I will have to stick to the kid who cant move away from the camera yet, : )

Now on to the Jumperoo.....
We have now moved Caleb on to the jumperoo and he LOVES it. Although he is still a little small to jump all over the place, he is quite content with his big brother helping him jump! Definitely going to be another roller coaster baby in the family!!!
On another note, we had a GREAT mothers day! Josh surprised me with a digital photo frame, and then we had a relaxing day with Grammy and Pop Pop, guys made dinner/dessert and the girls relaxed!!! All in all, it was a wonderful, relaxing, great day!!!
On to Monday....busy, crazy fun : )

First time in the Exersaucer
Yesterday was Caleb's first experience in the exersaucer. I couldnt believe that he was old enough to go in there, but he sure is. Although he isnt able to move all around in it and play with the toys, he is entertained by the colors, music, lights, etc. He even started grabbing at some of the toys to of course, chew on them! We will be introducing the jumperoo to him next and I am sure that will be the subject of another blog! Caleb is getting so big, he now easily rolls over, grabs at toys, chews on EVERYTHING, laughs, follows your movement around the room, etc. Such a big, happy boy!!!

Nathan's Bible Verse!
Nathan went to church with my parent yesterday, since he had spent the night over there for his birthday sleepover! When he got back, my parents had said he learned a Bible verse at church. He was napping at the time, so I wasnt able to ask him what it was. Later last night, I asked Nathan what it was, and he said it perfectly for me. This was several hours and a nap past when he had learned it, and he remembered it!! What a big boy he is and mommy is sooooooooo proud! He said it a few times perfectly before I was able to get this video, so at this point, he was a little tired of having mommy ask "whats your verse Nathan" haha!!! Its Psalm 119:105
105 Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.
